Crafty Pots Café opened at The Heart Shopping Centre in Walton-on-Thames earlier this year and is a fantastic addition to the town. The café offers pottery painting sessions to children and adults of all ages and abilities. Customers can unleash their creativity by decorating mugs, plates, bowls, teapots and piggy banks. Throughout October there will be a selection of spooky Halloween-themed items for customers to paint.

Nat Leyland, Owner of Crafty Pots Café said: “We’re so delighted to be supporting Momentum Children’s Charity with our first Crafty Pots Charity partnership. Momentum does a brilliant job in supporting families of seriously ill children, to make sure no one has to cope alone. What an incredibly valuable and worthwhile cause.”

As part of the partnership, Crafty Pots customers will be encouraged to make a donation to Momentum via the Crafty Pots website, or by scanning the QR code when visiting the café. They will also be offering space for us to use to host events for families we are supporting through our bereavement service, Echoes. On top of this, customers are encouraged to paint one of Crafty Pots’ little ceramic hanging hearts in return for a £10 donation to Momentum.

Bianca Effemey OBE, Founder and CEO at Momentum Children’s Charity said: “We are thrilled to be chosen as the Charity of the Month for Crafty Pots Café. We work alongside a number of hospitals across Surrey, including St Peter’s Hospital, and every penny raised from this partnership will help us support families who have a child with cancer or another life-challenging condition.”
