Staff at Valero headed down to the River Thames to decorate our wonderful riverboat so it was ready for families to enjoy for our special Halloween events.

Staff adorned the boat with balloons, cobwebs, bats and ghosts galore ensuring our families have a fang-tastic Halloween experience. As well as special Halloween cruises, families are also daring to hop aboard for spooky sleepovers on the riverboat this half term.

The volunteering programme is just one of several initiatives that energy company, Valero, organise as part of their ongoing partnership with us.

Valero have been supporting us for more than two years and as well as volunteering, the company organise a number of fundraising events to raise money for us including an annual golf event, a quiz night, and various endurance challenges. To date, they have raised more than £65,000 to help us be there for families with children with life-challenging conditions.
