Seven families attended the evening – some mums came by themselves, others brought children along, and one dad joined in too.

There was a choice of painting a special mug, bowl or a plate. Designs included pretty flower patterns, images of favourite animals, and some painted the names of their child on their items. Our wonderful volunteer, John, painted a pebble for each of the families with the initial of their child on the back of it.

Crafty Pots gave us their upstairs room at the Café which meant families were able to talk to each other and share thoughts and experiences in the comfort of a private space. It was a lovely, restful evening.

A big thank you to Crafty Pots Café for their generosity. Not only did they provide the room free of charge, but they also donated the pottery items and paints too. This is the second time we have held an Echoes event at Crafty Pots, and the team at the café have also raised £255 for Momentum through donations at their till points and the sale of special ceramic hearts.
