Organised by our bereavement support team, Echoes, the event was a chance to connect with other parents who have been through similar experiences, share memories of their children, and to offer some relaxation.

Four mums attended the event where they enjoyed refreshments, while taking in the beautiful scenery on what was a wonderful summers evening.

One of the mums who attended the event said: “I really appreciated having the chance to be looked after and to talk to other mums.”

Vanessa from our Echoes team said: “Being on the water can offer a sense of peace, tranquillity and calmness. As soon as you step onto the boat it is almost like you take a deep breath and things slow down. It is a safe and private space for people to talk, think, reflect –whatever is needed.”
