Michelin star restaurant set to raise thousands
The special evening which is taking place at The Clock House restaurant on Sunday 11 August at 6:30pm will see diners treated to three delicious courses as well as canapes and champagne.
The meal will be carefully crafted by chef patrons Michael Wall-Palmer and David Adams and attendees will enjoy sampling their award-winning cuisine which will include scallops, roast beef rossini, and chocolate mousse.
Tickets cost £150 per head and every penny of that will be donated to Momentum. Talking about why she is organising the event for Momentum, Serina Drake, who owns The Clock House restaurant said: “My friend’s young son Tommy was diagnosed with cancer in February 2022. It has been a really tough time for the family and something you just can’t imagine going through as a parent. The support they have received from Momentum has been invaluable – arranging respite breaks, experiences and just being there for them. I wanted to give something back to a very special charity.”
Tommy’s mum said: “Our Momentum Family Support Worker, Emma, has become part of the family. We can’t put into words the positive impact her assistance has been to us. When Tommy had to isolate due to the intensity of the chemotherapy, Emma arranged a special visit from Santa, who confirmed Tommy was on the nice list.”
As well as the exclusive dining event, there will be a special auction on Galabid with prizes including a round of golf at Wisley Golf Club and some very special pieces of art.
