The season of giving is upon us. Here’s our top five ways to work some merry magic.

This year, we asked the children we support to design us a fabulous festive Christmas card. Our winning design came from Virginia, who drew Mo the Owl on top of a Christmas tree.

“I thought it would be perfect to put the amazing Mo on the top of the Christmas tree to symbolise how Momentum has been like an angel guiding you to your happiness and recovery, and it really has helped me get through and finish all my medical treatment.”

 

There are two designs to choose from, no paper wastage and you choose your donation amount.

Lots of schools and companies like to take part in the annual Christmas Jumper day. Maybe this year on 10th December, you could choose to support us, your local children’s charity, as well?

It’s a really simple way to fundraise, everyone just wears their Christmas jumper to work/school/nursery and makes a small donation to take part.

Do you have a school Christmas fete coming up? or a local Christmas fair? or perhaps there’s a company Christmas bake off brewing? All of these things are great opportunities to get creative and sell your wares in exchange for donations.

Did you know that you can actually give to us as you shop online and it won’t cost you a penny more? Yup, if you do your shopping using AmazonSmile, Give as you Live or Easy Fundraising, and select Momentum Children’s Charity as your chosen charity, they’ll donate a % of your shopping to us.

We’ll be taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge again this year.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge starts at 12pm on #givingtuesday and runs for a week until 12pm 7th December. Donations made to us through our challenge page (watch this space) during that week, will be doubled which means you can make one donation, that will have twice the impact. Pretty amazing.
