Santa makes an extra special visit to Momentum families this Christmas
- Family support workers
Some of the families we support are unable to get to grottos and other festive events to meet Santa, so the big man himself made some extra-special visits to meet these children and deliver some early Christmas cheer (and presents, of course!).
110 children received a magical doorstep visit from Santa and his special elf, supported by a dedicated team of 34 Momentum volunteers.
Tesmi, and her children Francis and Elspeth were one of the families that Santa visited. Tesmi said:
“The kids had a lovely visit from Santa! We kept it as a surprise for them, so their faces lit up on seeing him. We know there is a big team of volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this possible, so a heartfelt thank you to each one of them.
A special thanks to Santa and his elf- it was magical to have them visit our home. I can’t put into words how thrilled both Francis and Elsbeth were. They loved the extra special things on Santa’s robe including the magic key, bells and lights.”
A huge festive thank you to our very generous supporter, James Whurr, who along with our corporate partners – Air Charter Service and Gleeson Land, helped Santa make this possible.
