We are the chosen charity for the Weybridge-based church and are almost at the end of our three-year partnership with them.

The event saw 85 people in attendance with everyone in high spirits as they entered the seven-round quiz, which was hosted by resident parish quiz master, John, who did a brilliant job of keeping everyone on their toes.

Eight teams took part, with rounds including questions on medical knowledge, music and America. It was a closely fought contestant with local quiz team ‘Pointless’ taking the top spot, each receiving a bottle of wine as a prize.

Quizzers were treated to a delicious Indian curry cooked by the fantastic Lorna and Rohit from Lorna’s Indian Kitchen. Momentum is a cause close to Lorna and Rohit’s heart as the family were supported by Momentum when their son was undergoing treatment for cancer in 2023/24. Lorna and Rohit spoke movingly about their journey as a family and how Momentum has helped them.

There was a raffle with prizes including luxury candles, perfumes, hampers and a £50 voucher for Lorna’s Indian Kitchen. The event raised more than £2,000 for Momentum.

Christ the Prince of Peace have put countless hours in to organising different events for Momentum and we can’t thank them enough for the dedication they have given to our partnership.
