This is the 11th time that the energy company has organised the fundraiser and this year they raised a record-breaking £526,000 which will be split between the children’s charities they support.

Despite the rain, participants didn’t let the wet weather get the better of them – they enjoyed playing on the three courses, and there was even a competition for the best-dressed team!

Tara from Momentum attended the event, which took place at Celtic Manor Resort, Wales. She said: “What a fantastic day! A huge thank you to everyone at Valero, and to their customers and suppliers for getting involved in the event. Over the last three years, Valero have raised an incredible amount of money for Momentum, helping us to be there for families going through very difficult times.”

As well as fundraising, staff from Valero take part in volunteering activities for Momentum, including cleaning and decorating our riverboat to make sure it is ready for families to use.
