Phoebe’s story

In 2020, on her Dad’s birthday and only three years after her mum had overcome her own battle with cancer, 14-year-old Phoebe was given the heartbreaking news that she had osteosarcoma. The whole family, once again, found their lives turned upside down, as Phoebe began an aggressive treatment plan amidst a global pandemic.

On Christmas Eve 2019, 14-week-old Jenson was taken to hospital where a CT scan revealed a mass on his brain. Weeks later the family were told the devastating news that his tumour was cancerous. Here his mum tells their story.

In 2019, six-year-old Patrick’s family were told the devastating news that he had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Two weeks later, his grandad became very ill and died the next day.
